Snowsports Resorts in Poland
Poland has only one really decent sized resort, Zakopane, and even its a bit quirky! There are a number of other smaller resorts in the area, and other lifts at Zakopane.

Skiing through the trees above Zakopane.
The cable car from Kuznice to Kasprowy Wierch gives access to some great long runs back through the trees, plus two higher chairlifts with big wide-open pistes. The only trouble is that the cable car takes only 150 skiers per hour, so don't even think of skiing here at a weekend.

The view out over the Polish Tatras from the top station of the Kasprowy Wierch cable car, at about 1950m.
From here there are several good runs back to base, or you can use two modern chairs to ski the pistes. The piste plan for Kazprowy Wierch at Zakopane is pasted below - the runs are really only red, not black.
